WTF is Neurofeedback?

There was a time when I asked myself this very question.

(Keep reading for a chance to win 3 FREE brain training sessions!)

"What is it?" is surely an important question.

But what was more important was what neurofeedback could do for me?

How does better focus, less stress and anxiety, and increased sense of ease sound to you?

I can tell you, it sounded really great to me.

To my surprise and delight, what it did (and does) for me, my partner and our relationship, was what convinced me to want to spread the word about neurofeedback.

Not just spread the word, but to also offer neurofeedback brain training to those looking for a safe, natural and effortless way to impact significant and lasting changes.

My name is Mio and I am now a Certified NeurOptimal Trainer.  That's how much I believe in this method of conditioning and optimizing the brain.

What Can Neurofeedback do for YOU?

Training your brain can help you be more mentally flexible and resilient.

That means you can train your brain to have better habits and to work more efficiently.

When your brain has better habits and works more efficiently, you may experience:

  • Better focus
  • Clearer thinking / intelligence & mental clarity
  • Lessened anxiety
  • Positive impact on depression
  • Calm
  • Increase in creativity
  • Easing of hypervigilance and fears

Is all this really possible?

Yes, it is possible.

Users, after many millions of sessions have reported, many more symptoms and conditions have been shown to be improved by neurofeedback training.

Each brain is different and you just may find that the benefits you experience are ones you may not even have been expecting.  (I started being told that I was funnier!)

What did Brain Training Do for Me?

Here is my story:

I've always been a seeker.  Looking to learn and apply ways to feel better, do better.

Years ago, this way of being led me to participate in a 5-day bike rally from Toronto to Montreal, where I experienced some pretty major personal epiphanies.

Which then led me into pursuing personal therapy... which resulted in more and more epiphanies.

And eventually, I made the leap to go back to school to pursue a second career as a psychotherapist.

But if there's one thing I learned after all these years it's this:

There isn't one answer to everything.

There could be many ways to solve one issue/challenge/problem and sometimes what ends up working is something that's not widely known or understood.

And isn't this something that can be said of this time in human history?

Now more than ever, we all know that technology has solved many issues, challenges and problems.

Hey, this was even true at one time:

So when I learned about neurofeedback, I was very intrigued.

It's technology that can provide information about the brain's activities, which the brain can then use to train itself to function better.

Of course, there's a bunch of other explanations that can be given about it, but the short of it is: 75% of users have reported improvements, shifts and changes as a result of neurofeedback brain training.

For me, it has helped me with mental fatigue, more restful sleep, increased creativity, and less of getting stuck in unhelpful thoughts.

My partner trained at the same time and he experienced an increased ability to concentrate better, an amplified enjoyment of music, as well as a more regulated sleep schedule.

Due to both of us experiencing a greater sense of overall ease, our relationship has also improved.

WIN WIN WIN.

Do Better, Be Better.

It was based on what we experienced with neurofeedback that spurred me on to providing brain training sessions to those who are looking for an edge, improvement and continued growth.

I consider it this way: If psychotherapy is training for the mind, neurofeedback is training for the brain.

I also don't believe that the process of improving oneself is 'correcting deficiency'.

Rather, thanks to our understanding of neuroplasticity, we now know that we can experience continued growth and betterment well into our octogenarian years and beyond.

So, if there is a way to improve and continue to get better safely, effortlessly and without medication or anything like that, why wouldn't you?

Taking the Leap.

What if I were to run into you on the street today and asked you:

"Would you like to perform better, think and feel better and be less stressed?"

I'd imagine that you would at the very least be a tiny bit curious.

You wouldn't be here reading this if you weren't.

But maybe, you also have a tendency to over-think things and you're very well acquainted with "analysis paralysis".

You'd like to take the leap to do better, but something holds you back.

The irony is brain training with neurofeedback can help you with that.

Here's the thing, though: You have to take the step toward it first.

It does take courage to step toward the unfamiliar.

But what if I can help to make it a little easier for you to try something new?
